The Planning and Development Section was established on 16-02-2016 in MANUU to look after the all proposals for sanction of development grants etc. from UGC/MHRD and other funding agencies for the organized growth of the University. The Activities of the Planning and Development Section are looked by Mr. Abrar Ahmad, Assistant Registrar.
The Planning and Development Section is executing the work for the growth of the University assets plan and defining the long-range physical vision of each of the university’s campuses and plays an essential role in management of organizational setup of the University. Further, it provides a seamless strategic and operational plans for over all University’s Development Programs and offers support for decision making in order to accomplish and advance both academically and administratively through reforms.
This section is entrusted with the subjects viz., UGC/ MHRD communications, general development assistance under plan, preparation of developmental plans, proposals relating to sanction of teaching and non-teaching posts etc., establishment of new Institutions, Parliamentary replies, Visitor’s Meetings and Conferences, Action Taken Report, Institutional Projects, UGC schemes, Data uploading on Central University Portals of UGC and any other work assigned by the competent authority from time to time.
