Human Resources & Physical Infrastructure

1. Human Resource:
   Human resource in terms of teaching and non-teaching staff comprises of Principal with twelve faculty members (1 professor, 2 Associate Professor and 10 Assistant Professor)  and seven non-teaching members (1 Section Officer,
   1 SPA, 1 Lab Asstt., 1 LDC, 1 Lab Attendant and 2 Office Attendants) on full time basis.


2. Infrastructure:
   The CTE, Darbhanga is functioning in its own building, efforts have been made to cater to the needs, of the teacher-educators and teacher-trainees to a great extent.  The Classrooms, Office, Library, Science, Education technology laboratories, Health & Education, Fine Arts and Crafts, SUPW, Music, Language lab, IT literacy facilities and other laboratories are furnished with furniture and fixture as per the requirements.


3. Library:
   Library is the nerve centre of any educational institution and keeping this point in view, it has been upgraded to cater to the needs of the staff and the teacher-trainees. CTE library procured 4500 books, 200 reference books, 10 Magzines, 15 Journals, Encyclopedias and Dictionaries.  Five daily News Papers.  The library is fully computerized.  The library is having a seating capacity for 50 students at a time.


4. Science Lab.:
   Science lab has also been established as per the requirements of B.Ed. and M.Ed. curriculum. It has been sufficiently equipped with the necessary material which includes scientific apparatus, chemicals, models and charts that can be made available to the teacher-trainees as and when required.


5. Psychology Laboratory:
   Psychology lab has also been established as per the NCTE requirements.  Psychology tests and apparatus procured for the use of teacher educators, teacher-trainees and researcher; these include Creativity tests, Personality tests, Interest Inventories, Intelligence tests, performance tests of intelligence, Adjustment inventories and so on.


6.   Health and Physical Education Resource Centre:
   Health and physical Resource Centre is an important part of any institution.  A fully equipped Health and Physical Education Resource Centre is developed in the CTE.  The institution is in possession of both play materials and sports instruments.


7. Educational Technology lab & I.C.T. LAB:
   Educational Technology Laboratory has been established in the institution as per the NCTE requirement of the Teachers and Teacher-trainees.  However, the lab is equipped with 30 computers with UPS, over Head Projector, DVD Player, T.V.  and Printers.


8. Arts and Crafts Room:
   Arts and Crafts Room also an important part of any institution.  A fully equipped room is developed in the CTE.
