MODEL SCHOOL HYDERABAD

The school started functioning from 11^th of September, 2007. There are five classes (I to V) in the school. A total of 117 students got admission during the academic year 2007-08.
Initially teachers taught from English medium books as CBSE Urdu medium books were not available in Hyderabad. Till the appointment of teaching staff in the month of March, 2008, the classes were conducted by the staff members of the Dept. of Education & Training of MANUU.
The details of class wise strength along with the number of boys and girls in each class is as follows:

Along with teaching, the students were involved in co-curricular activities in the school:

On 24^th of October UNO day was celebrated.
On 14^th November, Children’s Day was celebrated. On both these occasions cultural programmes were organized.
On 26^th January, 08, Republic Day was celebrated. One staff member from the Dept. of Education and Training, MANUU hoisted the flag. Various cultural and sports activities were organized on this occasion and winners were given prizes.

In the beginning for a few months mid-day meals were arranged for the students.
Students were provided text books and note books free of cost from the University.
Though there were various limitations like non-availability of regular teaching staff, and some physical facilities, all the curricular and co-curricular activities were carried on in the school without any compromise.
The unit test, assignments, project work, art and craft, cumulative examinations and Session ending examinations were conducted on time. The result of annual examinations was given on 31^st of March, 2008.
The new academic year (2008-09) started from 1.4.08. All the staff members are given subjects according to their qualifications and interest.
This academic year (2008-09) one class i.e. class VI is added. Admissions are kept open from classes I to VI. As per paper notification, the last date for submission of application forms is 25-4-08.
