The College of Teacher Education was established initially in a rented building by the Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in 2007, at Bhopal to prepare teachers through Urdu medium of instruction and examination. This college brought the name and fame for its excellent teaching and learning atmosphere among the people of Bhopal and state government. The performance of college attracted the attention of officials concerned about growth and development of this college. Hence, due to the understanding between the Maulana Azad National Urdu University Hyderabad and the State government, a piece of land of measuring 6.44 acre was allotted for having a permanent campus.
Vision & Mission
The College of Teacher education through its programme intends to develop knowledge, skills and thereby to improve the overall personality of the students for making a useful member of the society. The objectives of the college envisaged are: >
- To provide the students with sound theoretical knowledge so that they can apply it at the grass root level;
- To develop mind of the students which is more professional, intellectual and conforms to the recent required skills for the teaching profession;
- To transform students into knowledge workers so that they would take up teaching and allied professions in their future careers and thus help themselves and the society to be productive; and
