Principal’s Desk
I felt privileged to be entrusted with the responsibilities and duties as Principal of a College of Teacher Education after my appointment as an Associate Professor of Education. Prior to joining this institution I was a faculty in the Department of Education, Post Graduate and Research Institute Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha Madras. (An Institute of National Importance Declared by Parliament Act 14 of 1964). I worked as Principal, Reader and Lecturer a long period of 20 years in various B.Ed colleges situated at Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The experience of teaching as well as administration during my services in Post Graduate and Research Institute Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha Madras and as Research officer in NCTE Headquarter Delhi has been helping me a lot to head and run this institution successfully. This institution has a team of sincere and dedicated faculties. This institution provides opportunities for experiential learning through various curricular and co-curricular activities which help the students in the development of their personality and to become a ideal teacher. I wish that the students of this college would set an example of a good teacher, nice human being and disciplined member of society before their students in future at their work place.
