The College of Teacher Education was established initially in a rented building by the Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in 2015, at Bidar to prepare teachers through Urdu medium of instruction and examination. This college brought the name and fame for its excellent teaching and learning atmosphere among the people of Bidar and state government. The performance of college attracted the attention of officials concerned about growth and development of this college. Hence, due to the understanding between the Maulana Azad National Urdu University Hyderabad and the State government, a piece of land of measuring 10.00 acre was allotted for having a permanent campus.
The MANUU College of Teacher Education Bidar was established on 13th May 2015 at Bidar (Karnataka) to prepare the trained teacher for central state and non government school to provide them quality teacher education through Urdu medium as the mandate of the University under the proper guidance of school of Education & Training MANUU, Hyderabad.
The first batch consisted of 45 students of different states of India have been passed out mostly with Distinction and First class marks.
Most of them are appointed in Central Government, State Government and Private Schools along with 09 students are continuing their higher education as M.Ed, M.A.and M.Phill. In different Universities
