Prof. Md.Faiz Ahmad  joined MANUU as an Assistant Professor on 16th December,2006 and posted at College of Teacher Education, Darbhanga. He is a founder faculty of CTE, Darbhanga. He was appointed as Associate Professor in Education on 19.12.2011 and posted at MANUU, Directorate of Distance Education, Hyderabad and transferred to CTE, Darbhanga on 11.02.2013. He was given the responsibility of Principal of CTE, Darbhanga on 01.08.2015 which he has been successfully shouldering. He was promoted as Professor in Education on 19.12.2014 through Career Advancement Scheme(CAS). Prior to the MANUU he joined Department of Education, Shibli National College, Azamgarh as a Lecturer in Education on 17.08.2001 and served till 15.12.2006. He has rich and varied academic and administrative experience. He held several important administrative positions. He is also member of Academic Council of the University. He has published two Books and many research papers and articles in reputed journals. He has attended many national and International seminars from various capacities. He is a member of various professional bodies and Associations. He guided many M.Ed students for research project. At present 04 students are enrolled in Ph.D course under his supervision.

Dr. Shafayat Ahmad is a senior Assistant Professor of Education in the Department of Education & Training in Maulana Azad National Urdu University, a Central University, joined MANUU (posted at MANUU,CTE, Srinagar) in 2005 and presently working at MANUU, CTE, Darbhanga since 2006. He is a founder faculty of MANUU, CTE, Srinagar & Darbhanga. He did B. A (Hon’s), M.A, B.Ed, M.Ed, M.Phil from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and Ph.D from Nalanda Open University, Patna. He qualified UGC-NET in Education in the year 2003. He has been teaching since last fourteen years and engaged with B.Ed, M.Ed and Ph.D courses. He has published more than fifteen research papers in National and International Journal. He has authored a book on the theme Learning Environment in Colleges and also translated two blocks of Education: Philosophical and Sociological Perspectives from English into Urdu Language. He has contributed two units of Psychology of Learner and Learning, one unit of Pedagogy of Social Studies and one unit of Peace Education in Urdu for SLM of MANUU, B.Ed (DM). He attended and presented papers in various National and International Seminar and Conferences. He has nominated Academic Coordinator for effective implementation of Choice Based Credit System. He is also engaged with MANUU, B.Ed (DM) students as Programme Coordinator and successfully conducted workshop and academic counselling. He has successfully conducted various National Level exams and test as an Observer such as NEET, JEE, & NET and also successfully conducted various University Tests and exams as Centre Superintendent, Additional Centre Superintendent and Dy. Centre Superintendent. He has appointed as Returning Officer for conducting MANUU Student Union Election in Darbhanga Campus. His expertise in the field of Administration. He has been utilised by MANUU by assigning an additional charge as Incharge Principal at KAMRAN MANUU MODEL SCHOOL, Darbhanga and received Active School Award by Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Gyanpeeth, Aurangabad (M.S)&MHRD appreciation letter dully signed by HRD Minister Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani (for Principal, teachers & students) for commendable academic performance by the students of KAMRAN MANUU MODEL SCHOOL, Darbhanga in Board’s Examinations 2015. He is a recipient of Active Principal Award 2015 by Indira Gandhi Gyanpeeth, Aurangabad, (M.S) and also received Educational Excellence Award 2016 by Educational Development Council, Patna, Bihar. Dr. Shafayat Ahmad is a Chairman and member of syllabus preparation committee, member of admission committee. He is also a member of various professional and academic committees like Indian Association for Teacher Educators (IATE), All India Association for Educational Research (AIAER) & Educational Development Council (EDC), Patna, Bihar. His has expertise in the field of games and sports and cultural activities.

Dr. Zafar Iqbal Zaidi joined the CTE, Darbhanga as Assistant Professor on 9th January 2009. He did M.Sc. in Mathematics from A. N. College Patna of Magadh University, B.Ed and M.Ed from a central university Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi with specialization in Pedagogy of Mathematics, Education technology and Educational Administration. He got 4th rank in M.Ed entrance test 2005 of Jamia Millia Islamia and awarded Jamia Central Scholarship for the same. During pursuing of M.Ed he was selected as Post Graduate Teacher of Mathematics at Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. He worked at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Doda (J&K) for two years and four months then switched to MANUU in 2009. During the short tenure at Navodaya he was recognized as an expert in Pedagogy of school mathematics. He with group developed the frame work for mathematics lab in the 51 JNVs of Chandigarh region through workshop at JNV, Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh) and participated in Development of learning materials for slow learners of mathematics at JNV Udhampur (J&K) and JNV Bhatinda (Punjab). He translated the Prospectus of JNVST-2008 in Urdu at NVS RO Chandigarh. He also conducted some experiments to enhance the performance of slow learners of mathematics successfully. He qualified UGC NET -December2007 during the JNV job. Presently he is pursuing M.A in Philosophy from IGNOU. Research Activities and Epistemological contributions:He did PhD in Education from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 2015 focused on Teacher Education. He got published two research paper in reputed Research journal. One of it is international acclaimed and cited internationally. He developed SLM for PGDGC programme of Centre for Distance and Open Learning, Jamia Millia Islamia. He participated in various seminars/Conferences in India. He has played vital role in UG/PG term end/Entrance Test/Eligibility Test etc examinations of some state and central universities since 2010. He is a recognized Expert in Pedagogy of Mathematics by Bihar School Examination board, Patna. He with group developed Framework for multimedia conversion of learning materials of D.El.Ed at SCERT, Patna. He reviewed two research papers of an international journal of abroad. He developed SLM of B.Ed programme of MANUU in Urdu medium. He worked as resource person at IGNOU for PG Diploma programme and invited as chief guest by some educational institutes. He is member of Indian Association of Teacher Educators (IATE) and All India Association of Educational Research. He teaches Pedagogy of Mathematics & Physical Science, ICT in Education, Research Methodology and Curriculum Development at UG and PG level. He has guided and guiding Research work at Master degree level focusing policy researches on policies of education. Dr Zaidi has rich exposure of studying and working in a multicultural set up. He is proficient in Multilanguage viz. Urdu, Hindi and English to teach and work both. He has knowledge of Arabic and Persian also. He believes in continuing education and has passion of learning new knowledge. He specialized in and has kin interest in Educational Research, ICT in Education and Mathematics education.

DR. AFTAB AHMAD ANSARIjoined MANUU- College of Teacher Education- Darbhanga on the 23rdDay of February 2012, as an Assistant Professor in Education. Prior to joining MANUU, he was a Guest Faculty at Department of Education, Aligarh Muslim University- Aligarh. He has completed his Masters in Geography and was awarded the Gold Medal for the same. He did his B. Ed., M. Ed. and Ph. D. in Education from Aligarh Muslim University- Aligarh. He has qualified UGC-NET in Education. His area of specialization is educational psychology, socio-economic development, inclusive education and minority education. He is proficient and possesses good knowledge of Hindi, Urdu & English languages. He has more than seven years of experience in teaching at undergraduates (B.Ed.) and postgraduate level (M.Ed.).He has published more than half a dozen of research papers and articles in national and international journals and contributed a chapter in an edited book. He has presented various papers in national, international seminar and conference and has participated in several ICSSR sponsored professional development, faculty development programmes, workshops orientation programmes and refresher courses. He has successfully supervised eleven research project/dissertation at postgraduate (M. Ed.)level so far. He is recognized as an expert in Pedagogy of Social Studies. He has also contributed for self-learning material for MANUU-DDE by writing on various subjects. Dr. Ansari is also the Member of different advisory and editorial boards of National and International Journals. He has delivered number of lectures, as a resource person, in different areas and issues of education. Presently he is the Life Member of All India Association of Educational Research (AIAER), Indian Science Congress Association- Kolkata, Indian Association of Teacher Educators, BhartiyaManavaSamajKalyanSevaSansthan (NGO). In his buoyantcorporate life he had served as a Vice-President of A.M.U. Geographical Society, A.M.U.-Aligarh. He was a staunch volunteer of Disability Unit (UGC-Scheme), A.M.U.-Aligarh. He holds an extensive experience in organizing orientation programmes and group counseling programmes for the differently abled students.

Mr. Chand Ansari joined MANUU- College of Teacher Education- Darbhanga on 09/02/2015, as an Assistant Professor in Education. He has an M. A. in English language and literature from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He acquired M. Ed. in special education specialized in learning disability from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He has published papers, attended various seminars and presented papers. He is currently working as assistant professor in MANUU, CTE, Darbhanga. He has been made counsellor for B. Ed. (Distance Mode). He has been a member of purchase committee constituted by university level.

Dr.Fakhruddin Ali Ahmad is working as an Assistant Professor in MANUU, College of Teacher Education, Darbhanga. He has obtained M.A. (History), M.Ed.and Ph.D. in Education from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He also did M.A. in Urdu from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. During M.Ed. course he got post graduate merit scholarship from A.M. U. Aligarh. He has been a lecturer in S M C L Kaka Girls PG College, Sikandarabad, Bulandshahar for ten years. During that tenure he has availed various distinguished positions. He has been vice principal, head, department of education, chief proctor, and assistant superintendent in university examination. He has also organized national workshop, conference and seminar sponsored by ICSSR, New Delhi and organized by college. He has published numerous papers in reputed Journals. He has also participated and presented papers in national seminars on various issues related to teacher education. He has also been credited as editor for a book. He has contributed one chapter in a book. He is a member and convener of various committees formed at college level and He is also a member of various professional and academic associations like Indian Association for Teacher Educators (IATE).

Dr. Bakhteyar Ahmad is presently working in Maulana Azad National Urdu University (a central university of Government of India) as Assistant Professor (Education) at its College of Teacher Education in Darbhanga, Bihar since March 2015. Presently he is engaging classes at all levels i.e UG (B.Ed), PG (M.Ed) and Ph.D. level. Here he is instrumental in teaching papers related to research methodology, assessment and evaluation, educational administration, pedagogy of social studies and English, communicative English, educational psychology and educational sociology etc. Besides this he has also actively involved in various committees constituted at college level from time to time. Presently he is convener of research committee, guidance and placement committee and time table committee. He has remained member in a number of committees such as academic committee, cultural committee, internship committee, discipline committee etc. Prior to this he was Assistant Director, Centre for Distance and Open Learning, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Before that he worked in the capacity of Assistant Professor (Education) for about four years in the same institution. At CDOL, Jamia Millia Islamia Dr. Ahmad remained member of a number of committees such as Admission Committee, Examination Committee, Fee Committee and Course Development Committees. There he also acted as Nodal Officer of the Centre during preperations for NAAC visit in 2014. He was instrumental in finalization of different reports such as Annual Reports to be submitted to DEC/BED UGC, NCTE, and to University. He was also active in finalization of norms and guidelines for opening of new study centres of CDOL. There he has coordinated a number of programmes and acted as superintendant in term end examinations and entrance test held in different programmes. Dr. Ahmad has also worked as Project Associate Fellow in an International Project titled CREATE in NUEPA, New Delhi. At NUEPA Dr. Ahmad has done intensive field work and was actively involved in indepth high quality research work. He was a visiting faculty for continuously seven years in the Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, for its very innovative programme M.Arch Pedagogy. Dr. Ahmad started his professional career in the year 2005 as PGT Economics in an English Medium Residential School located in Mewat District of Haryana where he taught for a very short duration. Dr. Ahmad has graduated from Magadh University, Bodhgaya. Thereafter he pursued his M.A and B.Ed. from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Later on he did M.Ed. and M.Phil. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Dr. Ahmad throughout his academic career (from matriculation till M.Phil.) has remained first divisioner. He also qualified UGC National Eligibility Test for lectureship in Education. In the year 2014, he was awarded Doctorate in Education from Jamia Millia Islamia. Dr. Ahmad has varied level of teaching and administrative experience ranging from school to postgraduate and Ph.D. level including distance and open learning system. Dr Ahmad has contributed about half a dozen of papers/articles in national and international journal/books. He has also published a book in the year 2016. Besides this he also contributed lessons for Jamia Millia Islamia B.Ed distance mode course, NIOS DECCE programme and recently for MANUU distance mode B.Ed. 5 students have already submitted and 4 students are pursuing M.Ed dissertations under his supervision.

Mr. Syed Md Kahful Wara joined MANUU, College of Teacher Education, Darbhangaas Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty) on 1st February 2017. Prior to the MANUU, CTE, Darbhanga he served the Department of Education, Mithila B. Ed. College, Darbhanga, Affiliated college of Lalit Narayana Mithila University, Darbhanga, Bihar in a position of Assistant Professor from 19th of July 2014 to 31st of January 2017. He has started his teaching as career initially at Mithila B.Ed. College, Darbhanga,Bihar. He has done his Graduation in life Science and Post- Graduation in life Science and Economics from Lalit Narayana Mithila University, Darbhanga, Bihar. He also Completed B.Ed. and M.Ed. from Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, Telangana. He qualified UGC NET (Education) twice. He has to his credit quite a good number of papers/articles in International and National Seminars/Conferences. His area of specialisation includes Pedagogy of school subject Biological Sciences and Physical Sciences, Inclusive Education, ICT in Education, Psychological Foundation of Education, Environmental Education, Educational Measurement & Evaluation and Educational Finance, Management and Planning. He has about 3-Years experiences of academics including UG & PG (1-year) level. He excelled his ability as a counsellor at MANUU,CTE, Darbhanga ( Distance Mode) with sincerity and zeal since 2014 to till date.

MD. SHAMSH TABREJ ALAM joined Maulana Azad National Urdu University, CTE Darbhanga as an Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty- Education) on 3rd November 2017. He is M. Ed. From Maulana Azad National Urdu University, CTE Darbhanga, M.Com. From Lalit Narayan Mithila University Darbhanga and pursuing M.A (Psychology) LNMU Darbhanga through distance mode. He has passed O’ Level from DOEACC New Delhi. Mr. Shamsh qualified UGC NET for Lectureship in the year 2017 and qualified Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (BTET) twice in the year 2011 and 2017. He has completed M. Ed. Dissertation successfully related to problems and prospects of Urdu medium schools. He has remained involved in guiding students for various competitive and other examinations during last five years. He has participated in two national seminars on role of education in making clean India and challenge and prospects of education. Presently he is teaching papers such as Educational management, Curriculum Development, Educational Technology and ICT in Education. His areas of specialization include ICT in Education, Educational Philosophy, Educational Psychology, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development and Problems of Indian Education.

MD. AKHTAR RAZA, has just joined MANUU CTE Darbhanga as an Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty) on 7th November 2017. He has done his graduation (B. A) and Post-Graduation (M. A) From Patna University. He completed B. Ed from MANUU CTE Bhopal and M.Ed. from Department of Education Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur (C.G). He qualified UGC NET (Education) and pursuing Ph. D. (Submitted) from faculty of Education (K), BHU, Varanasi. His Ph.D work in the area of Peace Education in secondary school level. He has submitted the Ph. D. thesis on 9th October 2017. His 10 research paper published in UGC listed international journal and 4 research papers published in UGC listed national journal. His 6 paper published in edited book and 2 papers in under publication. He is 27 research paper/article presented in seminar/conference. He is actively participated in 4 national workshops. He has exposure of two state universities which is SKM University, Dumka (Jharkhand) and Patna University Patna. He has also exposure of three central universities which are Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur and Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. His interest area are Methods of Social science, Peace Education, Measurement and Evaluation and Research methods.

Dr.Ashok Kumar Baitha Joined MANUU College of Teacher Education, Darbhanga on 05th May, 2007 As Section Officer. Before joining at MANUU he has given his service at Bihar Legislative Council Secretariat Patna as Urdu Typist-Cum- UDC from 12th June, 1999 to 4th May, 2007. He has done his B.A in Urdu (Hons.), M.A in Urdu, and Ph.D in Urdu from Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga awarded in March, 2017. He has done training in Computer Application in Office from CSTARI, Kolkata since 2015. He is direct of the subordinate with pleasing attitude for smooth functioning of the office.

Mr. Irfan Ahmad Khan, UDC, Joined MANUU on 21st November, 2005. He is M.A in Urdu. He is discharging the responsibilities of office Assistant successfully. He has done training in Computer Application in Office from CSTARI, Kolkata since 2015.

Mr. Shaukat Ali Ansari Joined MANUU College of Teacher Education, Darbhanga on 12th March, 2007 as Semi Professional Assistant. He has done his Graduation and Post Graduation in History, B.L.I.Sc., M.L.I.Sc & M.Phil in Library Science. He has also Qualified UGC-NET & JRF in Library Science. He has done certificate in Computing (CIC) from IGNOU, New Delhi and Post Graduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking (PGDLAN) from University of Hyderabad. He has attended 4 National workshops on library automation and digitization and 01 International seminar on best practices and bench marking in library.
