At present, the Directorate is housed in the Building of H.K. Sherwani Centre for Deccan Studies at Maulana Azad National Urdu University Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. It is well equipped with all the essential infrastructural facilities i.e., Director’s Office, Administrative Office, Officials’ roomsand a Conference Hallalong with dedicated staff members of diverse abilities to cope with the assigned responsibilities. Efforts are being made to construct a separate building for the Directorate on the campus.

Display cum Sale Counter:
The University has established a Books Display cum Sale Counter on the ground floor of the Deccan Studies’ Building where books published by the Directorate of Translation and Publications are available for sale.As per plan, books of DTP and Urdu books of other government publications such as NCPUL, SahityaAkademi, NBT and Publication Division etc. will be also be displayed and sold here in coming days. In this way, Urdu medium students, teachers and other Urdu loving readers will be able to purchase a variety of books under one roof.
