Our Facilities
The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology facilitates students who share a passion for Computer science. The department presently has four state-of-the-art laboratories, viz. General programming Lab, Advanced Programming Lab, Project Lab, Internet Lab. All the Laboratories are connected to the Gigabit Network of the department which in turn is connected to the Institute one Gigabit Network on optical fibre. Central Air conditioning and UPS power are made available to the entire departmental labs. Students are provided with individual work-spaces and HP make computers consisting of Intel core i7 processors in all the labs. The department regularly upgrades these computers to stay abreast with the latest available technologies. Each classrooms and laboratories are equipped with LCD projectors

3. 6- LCD Projectors
4. 8-Laser printers.
5. 1-GBPS NKN connectivity.
6. Precision uninterrupted power supply of two hours backup.

Software Tools and Environment

• Microsoft products with MSDNAA, which is the Microsoft Academic Alliance program and consists of a bundle of Microsoft Software for academic purposes. Development environments like MS Visual Studio, MS Visual Studio .NET, Visual Prolog, MS Office developer, etc. are actively used for development purposes by the department.
• IBM Rational Rose software development suite is used to familiarize the students with various software developmental models.
• Oracle RDBMS with Oracle products and Oracle Academic Initiative (OAI Membership license).
• Java compiler and applet viewer, C++ compilers..
• Various distributions of Linux, Redhat, Open source etc.
• IBM Rational rhapsody developer authorized user license.
