Warm greetings from the Department of Islamic Studies, MANUU!
It is my privilege to welcome you to the Department of Islamic Studies and invite you to explore the multidimensional facets of Islamic Studies. At the present time, Islamic Studies has become a subject of strategic importance in a multicultural society. For having over a billion followers and a history covering some 1400 years, the religion of Islam and the cultures of the Muslim world together present a very significant role in the world civilization. Thus the Department attempts to study the whole range of Islamic civilization and culture. It is committed to the advancement of academic excellence in teaching, research and publications. Its activities maintain dialogue and promote mutual understanding at notional and international level.
In the main stream the Department runs Undergraduate, Post graduate and Research programs in Islamic Studies. We are committed to accomplish your thrust for knowledge and not restricted to only chalk and talks. We are taking all efforts for overall development of the students organizing different academic programmes, extracurricular activities and cultural events.
I take pride working with the dynamic faculties and pleasant academic atmosphere of the Department. Our mission is to provide quality education and we sincerely believe in developing the capability, quality and competence in the students that will make them to create value for their organization, society, nation and the entire mankind through sustainable ways of development.
