The department has organised National and International Seminars on different topics of modern issues as following.
On 13th November 2014 the department organised One Day Seminar entitled“Modern Issues and Islamic Jurisprudence”in collaboration with Islamic Fiqh Academy India, New Delhi.

The department has also organised a session in First National Urdu Social Science Congress entitled“Teaching and Research in Islamic Studies in Urdu”on 14th& 15th December 2017.

The department has organised a session on“Islamic Studies: Emerging Trends and Opportunities”held in 2nd National Urdu Social Science Congress on 15th& 16th November 2018.

The department has organised a Two Day National Seminar entitled
“Islamic Studies: Concept, Present Scenario and Future”on 24th& 25th April 2019 in collaboration with Henry Martyn Institute Hyd.
